Do you love Gone with the Wind? Even though you know how it ends, do you always watch for Rhett to return? Do you know most of the words by heart? Do you yearn for Scarlett\’s wardrobe? If you sometimes wish that you could go back to a time when tea parties were held on the lawn, plantation houses dotted the countryside, and it took several people to get you in your dress then the Gone with the Wind personal checks might be the checks for you.

One of the most popular novels of all time, it has sold more than 30 million copies around the world. It has been turned into a movie, a musical, and a play and has spawned a multitude of pop culture references.

Regardless of its colossal popularity, Gone with the Wind was the only novel that author Margaret Mitchell wrote. It took Margaret seven years to write the novel and practically a whole year just to check its historical facts. In 1937 it won the Pulitzer Prize and eventually won many Oscars at the Academy Awards for the 1939 film version.

Now, Gone with the Wind is best known for its romantic images of the old south, as well as for the sensational antics of the lead female protagonist, Scarlett O\’Hara. Even though it sometimes gets disapproval for its representation of race in the old south, a great amount of historical research went into the creation of it.

It is likely that various characters in the book were based on actual people in Margaret\’s life, like her grandmother and first husband. Some people also suggest that Martha Bulloch Roosevelt, President Theodore Roosevelt\’s mother, was the inspiration for Scarlett.

A multitude of actresses wanted to be Scarlett, including Lucille Ball and Bette Davis. However, it\’s almost impossible to imagine anyone else in the role other than beautiful Vivian Leigh. According to the popular legend, the director knew that she was his Scarlett after seeing the burning of Atlanta causing a reflection in her eyes.

Today, you can remember the magic of this magnificent book and movie by getting Gone with the Wind personal bank checks. The checks contain 8 rotating scenes in the series, each one illustrating a favorite scene from the film. Plus, you can also get a matching checkbook cover and coordinating address labels to go with your checks.

Keep in mind that if you buy your checks online you can save as much as 50% off of the price. When purchasing from a safe site you can even order them from your own home without having to go through the hassle of visiting your bank!

When purchasing your checks, make certain that you have your routing number and checking account number available so that they can be printed directly onto the checks themselves.

Are you looking for a way to make your checks stand out from all the rest? If so, then you might be interested in Tweety Bird checks! Tweety Bird is a timeless and classic cartoon character that several generations now have been able to enjoy. If you\’re looking for a way to sweeten up your personal bank checks, than this loveable little yellow bird can brighten most anyone\’s day.

Nearly everyone is familiar with Tweety Bird and his opponent, Sylvester the Cat. Tweety Bird is a little yellow canary cartoon character that was produced by Warner Brothers in the Merrie Melodies and Looney Tunes cartoons. The word \”Tweety\” comes from a combination of the words \”tweet\” and \”sweet.\”

Tweety is a pleasant and affable bird and for the most part and is satisfied swinging in his cage or taking a nap in his nest. Sometimes, though, he has to think swiftly when it comes to his arch-rival, Sylvester the Cat. During these times he can be scheming and even fiendish if the situation requires it.

The character of Tweety Bird first appeared in the 1942 short \”A Tale of Two Kitties\” and was created by Bob Clampett. In the beginning, he was a pink wild baby bird and his name was Orson. He was also pretty aggressive. Eventually, however, he was made yellow and his temper settled down, although he could still get fired up when he had to.

Tweety Bird has an assortment of well-known quotes. Even those people that haven\’t watched the Looney Tunes cartoons probably know \”I tawt I taw a puddy tat!\” and \”I did, I did tee a puddy tat!\”

You can choose from a couple of different Tweety Bird check designs. The \”Totally Tweety\” checks have 4 different check designs. Each one has a soft pastel colored setting. With a range of backgrounds and patterns, every check you write will differ from the one before it.

You can also buy checks that have a small picture of Tweety Bird in the upper left hand corner. This check series also has 4 designs and each one shows Tweety in a special pose and with a different border. Corresponding address labels and a matching checkbook cover can be bought with these checks, as well.

If you would like to buy Tweety Bird personal bank checks then keep in mind that by buying them online from a reputable website you can save as much as 50% off the price of your checks. In addition, you will have a larger variety of checks to select from than you might have had at your local bank in the past.

When ordering your checks online, make certain that you have your checking account number and your routing number available so that they can be printed onto the checks. It should only take you around 5 days to receive them, which could even be sooner than you would have gotten them from your bank.

Hello Kitty, that endearing bow-wearing kitten that everyone knows, is pretty much all over the place. She holds a wide-reaching fan base that doesn\’t appear to be diminishing. If you are looking for a way to add style to your personal bank checks, and you\’re a Hello Kitty fan, you might even want to think about getting checks with her image on them.

Hello Kitty has become a worldwide phenomenon in the past 30 years. She can be found on products in more than 40 different countries. She has also been passed down through at least two different generations. Now, if you so choose, you can even carry her image on your personal bank checks.

A development of the Sanrio Company, Hello Kitty is originally form Japan. Initially coming to the public\’s attention without a name, she was later given the name Hello Kitty after she had become so popular, mostly with Japanese schoolgirls.

Since then Hello Kitty has grown to be tremendously fashionable in and out of Japan. Her likeness can be found on a multitude of objects such as lunch boxes and purses. One of the attributing factors leading to Hello Kitty\’s popularity is that she is a British citizen and lives in London. This has given her international interest.

A popular symbol with a very distinctive aura, she is a very recognizable image. Hello Kitty is pictured as enjoying traveling and eating cookies and enjoys her mamma\’s apple pie and listening to music.

Hello Kitty has many friends, including Badtz-Maru, Chibimaru, and Pochacco. Badtz-Maru is a penguin that every so often takes his alligator for a walk on a leash. Chibimaru is a puppy that plays basketball and enjoys eating carrots and banana ice cream. Pochacco is also a puppy that frequently makes appearances.

Other characters that also make appearances in Hello Kitty, and are sometimes featured on personal checks, are Mama, Papa, Tippy the Bear, Deery Lou, Jody, and her sister Mimmy. Hello Kitty often proclaimed that friends are like diamonds.

Hello Kitty\’s motto \”You can never have too many friends!\” may well be reflected in the millions of fans worldwide that own Hello Kitty products, and it is a sentiment echoed by anyone purchasing Hello Kitty personal checks.

Hello Kitty\’s picture is not just restricted to memorabilia. Taiwan\’s EVA airlines even put her image on their airbuses in 2006. The airsickness bags even had her picture on them and the planes were pink. Over 1/5 of the Hello Kitty Taiwanese fans own their own homes and 60% are married. Hello Kitty is for all ages.

If you chose to buy your personal checks online, you are generally able to obtain not only Hello Kitty personal checks but also check covers and labels too. Additionally, shoppers are normally able to find duplicate checks for just a small part of the cost that they would be able to purchase them for at their bank. By buying personal checks online you can usually save shoppers as much as 50% in the long run. The turnaround time is pretty quick, too. It is usually about the same amount of time, 2-3 days, that you would expect to get them from your bank.

In the \’real world\’ time heals all wounds. In the fight game, money has the same curative effect. This was vividly illustrated with the recent announcement that Tito Ortiz has patched things up with Dana White and will return to the UFC. Tito left the promotion over a year ago after a highly publicized split with the UFC president.

After losing to current light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida in his last UFC appearance, Ortiz left the company and bounced around doing personal appearances and commentary for a variety of promotions. He had surgery on his back in the process, and now claims that hes back to 100%.

Tito may never regain his championship form as a fighter, but that is of minimal relevance due to one salient fact\”people will pay to see him fight.. Ortiz is a fighter that offers no middle ground of public opinion, as people either love him or hate him. That dynamic is box office and PPV gold, a fact not lost on the savvy UFC brass. Dana White noted this fact in his comments on Ortiz at a Friday press conference in Las Vegas:

\”Tito and I have a history that everyone knows. He\’s still a guy that everyone wants to see fight. He said his back has healed perfectly and he\’s ready to take a shot at the title. He\’s one of those guys that people love and people love to hate. We\’ve put all our differences aside, have squashed everything and will move forward, and Tito will retire in the UFC.\”

To which Ortiz offered this response:

\”Time really cures everything. Dana was a man of his word. Dana apologized to me. We\’re like boyfriend and girlfriend.\”

Ortiz said that Dana White and UFC co-owner Lorenzo Fertitta came to his home in Huntington Beach, California and made him the proverbial offer he couldnt refuse:

\”I\’m happy, I\’m satisfied, You\’ll never hear anything about money again.

While neither Ortiz nor White would speculate on a timetable for his debut or his first opponents, sources suggest that he could debut on the UFCs New Years card against Mark Coleman. Coleman is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Stephan Bonnar at UFC 100 in mid July.

To best understand Titos appeal and why the UFC was so anxious to re-sign him, well paraphrase HBO boxing commentator Larry Merchant. As he previewed the George Foreman/Michael Moorer heavyweight championship bout he addressed criticism that Foreman didnt deserve the bout based on his recent form. Merchant noted that there are many fighters, but very few stars. Like George Foreman, Tito Ortiz is a star. Some love him, some hate him but people pay to watch him fight.

It seems as though record companies have developed a new game plan in order to collect royalties. As we all know, the music industry attempted to sue individual users who illegally downloaded songs. But because of this approach to recover from major fiscal loss has destroyed their public image.

Rather than lowering the cost of albums in order to compete with free music circulating through the internet, record companies have turned to collection agencies who are now suing cellphone companies over royalties from ring tones. They contested that ring tones counted as public performances and therefore cell phone companies should be obligated to pay performance fees. The courts quickly shot this down.

After this unsuccessful attempt to collect money, Broadcast Music Inc is now suing T-Mobile over ring back tones, contesting that the cell phone company is selling them without agreeing to licensing agreements. Instead of ring tones, which play out loud when someone calls a cellphone, ring back tones play expressly to the person calling. That is to say, instead of hearing a cellphone dialing tone, the caller will hear a song chosen by the cell owner.

Music lovers are quick to point out the contradictory nature of this lawsuit. If ringtones that can be heard by anyone around a cellphone that is being called, do not equate to a public performance, it seems absurd to sue the mobile carriers over a ringback tone that can be heard only by the caller. Record companies seem to be grasping at straws as they suffer from huge financial losses.

It does not appear that lowering the cost of CDs, DVDs and other media is an plan that has occurred to the music industry. There are still quite a few fans out there that prefer to collect and own the actual products, but with prices constantly spiking, downloading music for free seems very appealing. Many CDs generally go on sale for about seventeen dollars.

A few bands have bypassed the issue of free music downloads through creative tactics. Radiohead, an alternative rock band, built a website where fans can obtain the mp3s for free, or for a donation. Nine Inch Nails\’ Trent Reznor made a similar site. The music industry\’s unsuccessful lawsuits and declining public image leads one to believe that thinking outside of the box and lower pricing may be more effective than bullying money out of mobile carriers and individual users.

Most people grew up watching Scooby Doo and his band of mystery-solving friends. Scooby and Company has been solving mysteries and uncovering the truth long before the Scully and Mulder came onto the scene. If you are a fan of Scooby and the gang, and you want a way to spruce up your checks, then you might want to think about purchasing Scooby Doo checks.

Scooby Doo has been a popular cartoon character since 1969. Although is various cartoons have gone through different versions since the first “Scooby Doo, Where Are You?”, he is still as beloved today as he ever was.

Scooby was nothing without his companions, and especially his best friend, Shaggy. Together, Fred, Velma, Scooby, Daphne, and Shaggy solved mysteries that involved ghosts and haunted buildings-or did they? At least until recently, the ghosts themselves usually ended up being an opportunist trying to get the best of a kind hearted person.

The Scooby Doo cartoon was originated as an attempt to get away from more violent cartoons like Space Ghost and Johnny Quest. Few people know that the Scooby Doo cartoon was based on a combination of the I Love a Mystery radio show and the old black and white television show “The Many Loves of Doby Gillis.” Scooby himself got his name from the Frank Sinatra scat in his famous song “Strangers in the Night.”

There are a variety of checks to choose from if you decide that you would like to carry the gang around in your wallet.

One of the most popular series features Scooby and his crew as they search for clues. Scooby is on all of the checks, of course, but the rest of the gang is featured as well. Scooby wouldn’t be anywhere without his friends!

Another check series also features 4 checks, but the Mystery Machine is featured in one of them, as well as Scooby eating some of his famous Scooby Snacks. Scooby wouldn’t be complete without some bard-even when he is being chased by ghosts.

Coordinating checkbook covers, address labels, and even contact cards can usually be bought to match your new checks.

If you didn’t purchase unique checks in the past because you didn’t like going to the bank, sorting through the checks that were available, and paying a hefty price then you are in luck. Thanks to the Internet, you no longer have to do that anymore. Now, you can order your checks online from a safe website and not only save as much as 50% off of what you might have paid at the bank itself, but also be privy to hundreds of designs.

Simple bank checks are dull. If you give somebody a Scooby Doo check, though, you will be assured to get a grin. People are nostalgic by temperament and most people grew up at least watching an episode of the famous dog on occasion. Even today, more than 40 years after the much-loved dog first arrived, he still manages to sell millions of dollars worth of merchandise.

Do you find yourself commiserating a lot with Garfield when it comes to Monday mornings and your routine? Do you wish that you had more interesting looking personal bank checks? Well, if you’re a fan of the endearing, and sometimes gruff, big orange cat then carrying Garfield checks in your checkbook will always give you a reason to smile-even when it comes to your finances.

Created in 1978 by Jim Davis, Garfield is the world’s most syndicated comic strip. Everyone around the world is familiar with Garfield and his pals. The comic strip centers on the life and adventures of Garfield, a large orange, and sometimes lazy, cat as well as his owner Jon and Jon’s dog, Odie.

Garfield’s abhorrence of Monday mornings, his laziness, his obsessive love of eating, and his distaste of diets are some of the common themes that can be found within the comic strips. Both children and adults are able to enjoy the humor, somewhat due to the fact that the storylines are not political in nature and instead center on the daily humor that life can bring.

Jon is the owner of Garfield and Odie. He is generally portrayed as being somewhat geeky, although good hearted. Jon’s inability to find a date is an on-running joke, as are his eccentric habits such as stamp collecting and measuring his toenails. According to Garfield, he also has questioning taste in fashion as well.

Odie is an amiable yellow dog that is mostly shown to be naive, but endearing. However, his naivete could be an act since sometimes when Jon and Garfield are gone Odie can be seen watching educational programs on television and reading. Although Garfield usually gets the better of Odie, the two do seem to share a friendship with one another.

Now, if you’re a fan of Garfield and his friends, then you can get Garfield personal bank checks at a portion of the cost that you might have paid at your bank by ordering your checks online. When you use a safe site you can save as much as 50% off the price that you might have paid in the past.

The Garfield checks are endearing and light-hearted, just like the comic strip. You can even purchase coordinating address labels and a matching checkbook cover to go with them in order to complete your Garfield collection. Every time you write a Garfield check, you won’t help but smile-even if your finances are no laughing matter.

Ordering checks online is simple and quick and takes the task out of going to your local bank. You just need to know your routing number and checking account number to get started. These will be printed directly onto the checks themselves. You can typically expect to receive the checks in around 3-5 days, which might even be faster than your bank got them to you in the past.

Before you purchase Garfield checks, visit GarfieldChecks.net to find coupons and to save up to 50% off your next purchase of Garfield personal checks.

There is nothing quite as glamorous as the 1940′s pin-up girls of old Hollywood. If you love retro-inspired images and want to glamorize your personal checks, then you should consider buying checks that contain gorgeous illustrations of the fabled pin-up girls. Not only are they beautiful images, but they are also memorable.

In the 1940′s, WWII was raging, but Hollywood was alive and kicking. The pin-up girls of that era graced magazines, calendars, and even playing cards. They were beautiful, glamorous, and sexy. With perfect hair and makeup, gorgeous clothing, and secret smiles, they were more than just sex symbols-they were icons. Men wanted to be with them, and women wanted to be them.

Not all pin-up girls were movie stars and not all movie stars were pin-up girls. In fact, it took something a little more than beauty and sex appeal to be considered a pin-up girl. A woman had to have glamour and a quality about her that set her apart from everyone else. She also had to be accessible, which was one of the reasons why pin-up girls became so popular-their images were mass-produced and had wide appeal.

Betty Grable was one of the earliest pin-up girls. Her poster was “pinned up” in lockers during the War. The Gibson girl, who was actually an illustration, was another popular pin-up girl. Other popular pin-up girls of the 1940s include Carmen Miranda, Jane Russell, Veronica Lake, Rita Hayworth, Lana Turner, and Ava Gardner. Betty Page, in the 1950s, was one of the most popular pin-up girls of all time. In fact, merchandise containing her image can still be purchased today, despite the fact that many of her present-day fans were not alive during her heyday.

Even though pin-up girls still exist today, an argument exists that they no longer contain the allure and style of the women of the past. Although posters can be obtained of most of the popular female movie and televisions stars and supermodels, the sexy sirens of the past are gone.

If you adore the 1940s and 1950s, then the pin-up girls checks and their classic feel might be a great idea for you and your bank checks. The checks come in 4 rotating images so each charming lady will be different from the one before her. Not just good looking are these checks, but they can also be creative ways to showcase your personality.

If you purchase your checks online from a site you can save as much as 50% off the cost that your local bank might have charged you. The Internet is a great place to purchase bank checks anyway because you have a wide assortment to choose from. You can expect to receive your checks in around 5 days. Just remember to have your routing number and checking account number on hand when you place your order.

Before you purchase pin up checks, visit PinUpChecks.net to get coupons and to save 50% off your next order of pin up girl checks.

Sports book futures bets are an increasing popular and potentially profitable way to wager on the outcome of a full season. There’s a few common mistakes that novice players make that can be easily avoided by paying attention to the following:

You gotta shop around: More specifically, you have to ‘shop points’ just as you would with a straight bet. This is crucial in all forms of sports betting but particularly key with futures wagers. There are often greater variances in the prices from book to book on future plays than any other type of wagering proposition. The reason for this is simple–most books are less concern with what the ‘other guys’ are doing as they are with keeping their own position ‘in balance’. All in all, the sports betting marketplace just doesn’t react as quickly to changing futures prices as it does to individual game lines.

Don’t try to pick the winner in a competitive marketplace: This may sound sort of counter intuitive since the general idea of betting on futures is to determine the actual winner but it’s really not. Like everything else, its essential to always be mindful of the value you’re getting. In a futures market with several legitimate contenders at the top the price offered is seldom high enough to properly compensate for the risk you’re assuming. Here’s an example: in a hypothetical NCAA hoops tournament Duke is +200 to win the national championship. They’ve certainly got a shot, but at a payback of only 2/1 its hard to justify a wager at this point with the potential for so many interceding events that can make a championship more problematic. Such events as injuries, a tough tournament draw or even just going into a slump at the wrong time can happen to any team but when you bet a higher priced team–a ‘dark horse mid major at 15/1 for example–you’re getting “compensation” for assuming the “risks” of betting on a proposition with so many unknown variables.

In more theoretical terms, the ‘true odds’ of a Duke or similar top team winning the tournament are almost always higher than the price offered. Think of it this way–say we’re betting Duke to win the national title at 2/1. This means that the Blue Devils would have to win more than 33% of the time to break even. So lets say, for the sake of argument, that we could play the tournament over 100 times. Would Duke come out on top more than 33 of these times? If not, they represent a poor value. Let’s say that they win 30 of 100 times. This means that any price under +333 or thereabouts is a poor wagering value.

Note that the more competitive the market, the more difficult it is to find good value on the favorites. Since you can make a case for quite a few teams to win the NCAA tournament at this point this particular futures market is clearly a very competitive one. In a less competitive marketplace it might be possible to “pick the winner” and have it be a good value though you will pay a price for this. Here’s a (thankfully) hypothetical example: let’s say the UFC decided to hold a one night round robin tournament with 5 competitors. Competitor #1 would be heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar. The other four competitors would be professional figure skaters Elvis Stojko, Rudy Gallindo, Brian Boitano and Evgeni Plushinko. Even if he didn’t bring his “A game”, Lesnar would be essentially have a 100% certainty of beating the four untrained fighters, who also happen to be rather effeminate. If a sportsbook installed Lesnar as a -1000 favorite a bet on the 63 265 pound takedown would still be theoretically a good value. It’s always difficult to risk so much to win a little, but from a strictly theoretical standpoint its a good play.

Don’t try to make a huge profit with little risk: Sports betting provides few opportunities to make a ‘big killing’. It may happen occasionally, but even the big payouts when it occurs doesn’t make chasing big longshots a good value. If you’re serious about sports betting it is crucial to maintain your focus on the underlying numbers and look for value at all times. If you want to take a longshot at a huge jackpot, play the lottery but don’t try to do it at a sportsbook.

Simply stated, the concept of value works the same at the bottom of the wagering ladder as it does at the top. Even if you’re betting a big underdog at a huge price make sure that it accurately reflects the ‘true odds’ of the event occurring.

Don’t bet one-sided futures or propositions: Though many of these are not futures per se, a lot of sportsbooks offer silly propositions on nonsport events as a way to get publicity, or just to be funny. Its important to make a distinction between this type of silly bet and more realistic nonsport propositions which frequently present good wagering value. Im talking the really outlandish stuff here. Not too long ago, a sportsbook posted a line on Martians landing on earth and painting the White House red by the end of the year. The “YES” was +2500 or thereabouts, which is far from reflective of the “true odds” of this unlikely event. Even if you’re the type that collects classic Art Bell shows on tape and believes in UFOs you wouldn’t place the probability of this happening at more than a fraction of a percent. The book only offered the “YES” side of the proposition, meaning that you couldn’t lay even a huge price on the more likely outcome. Another book had a futures offering for what would happen first with Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore and Bruce Willis. All of the options were very unlikely–Ashton and Bruce fighting on PPV and my favorite–and the longest odds–Ashton, Bruce and Demi hopping in bed together and releasing a porno video documenting the event. You’d receive a sizable payback if any of the events ever transpired, but I’m not exactly sure how to compute the “true odds” on “when pigs fly.
